Express Shipping Nightmare: 19 Days and Still No Glasses! 😤
I'm writing this to warn everyone about my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping to save you from the same frustration. I ordered glasses from EyeBuyDirect on March 30th and paid extra for express shipping, promising 3-5 day delivery, especially because my old glasses had broken. But Day 5 rolled around, and they were still in production. Day 10, still stuck! By Day 11, I had to call and ask for a shipping refund, which they seemed to process all the time. Even after that, these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery, and it's already Day 19. It feels like this is a "Terrible company," and I'm deeply disappointed that someone doesn't give a crap about their customers. My urgent need for new glasses compelled me to chase answers, and my outrage demanded I share this warning.
Customer: Hello, I'm calling about my order placed on March 30th. I paid for express shipping, 3-5 days, but my glasses are still in production on Day 10. This 3-5 day promise was clearly false, and now it's Day 11 and they're still not even shipped. CS Rep: Absolutely, I can process that shipping refund for you right away. You'll see the $10 credit back to your account shortly. While I'm doing that, let me check for any expedited options or a more precise estimated delivery date for your order, as I see it's now showing an estimated delivery still 6 days out, which is far too long. Customer: So, even after all this, they're still 6 days out? This whole experience has been terrible. You need to understand how vital these glasses are. CS Rep: I do understand, and I assure you we are looking into what caused this significant delay. I’ve initiated the shipping refund, and I've also flagged your order for priority review by our production team to see if we can push it out sooner. You should receive an update within 24 hours. Again, I deeply apologize for the inconvenience and the misleading shipping times.
