A Tale of Glitches and Unprofessional Service: My BOGO Nightmare 😤
I feel compelled to share my terrible online shopping experience as a cautionary tale for others. I was lured in by a promotion, but the process was a complete disaster. In my opinion, the company is: Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. I will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. They admitted their website messed up my BOGO offer, but the solution they offered was absurd. This is the responses of what they offered. Return them ( even though their correct style and prescription. ) to RETURN AND REORDER to get the bogo they messed up and admitted. Simple solution? Credit back to my card used. Nah that's too easy. I felt I had no choice but to call and try to reason with them.
Customer: Your website glitched and didn't apply the BOGO offer you advertised. I was charged for both pairs of glasses.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry for the technical issue you experienced. I can see the promotion should have been applied. I can help you process a return so you can reorder and get the correct price.
Customer: That makes no sense. The glasses are perfect. You're asking me to return them and wait for a new order because your website failed? Just credit back the charge for the second pair.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, but our policy for this type of error requires the items to be returned before a new order can be placed with the promotion. I cannot issue a direct credit.
Customer: That's an unacceptable and unprofessional policy. You're making the customer do all the work to fix your mistake. Forget it. I'll just dispute the charge with my bank.
CS Rep: I do apologize, sir. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
